CRC Object/Paper Study Reservation Request Form

There are two study rooms available for use, the Paper Study room (used for 2 dimensional works) and the Object Study room (used for 3 dimensional works). The study rooms are available by reservation for groups of up to twenty people to view works from University of Michigan Museum of Art’s collection.

Please submit this form and we will process your reservation request. Reservations should be submitted 15 business days prior to your desired date. Someone from the Collections and Exhibitions team will respond to your reservation request within 2 business days from the date of your request. Reservations requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Submitting a reservation request does not guarantee that the date and time you request will be available for your visit.

The works you request will be retrieved from storage and be made available for you to view during the date and time you have the room reserved. A Collections and Exhibitions team member will be present with your group during the entire time of your visit.  Handling of the works by non-trained staff is prohibited. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.

The works requested must be portable. Some works may not be available based on size limits, condition or unavailability due to display or loan.
